In celebration of International Women’s Day, Oakridge is proud to present an engaging and inspiring panel of women of influence. Key topics of discussion include the modern working woman, entrepreneurship, work-life balance, and taking your career to the next level.

Join us on Thursday, March 5 in the West Galleria at 5PM for some real talk, delectable cocktails and canapés, and a chance to connect with like-minded women.

Caroline Carter-Smith, Partner, CSuite Content
Caroline has spent her career working directly with CEOs and senior executives. Her experience includes leading public relations for a top payment technology company, as well as serving as Director of Technology PR for Brix Media, overseeing business development and strategy for startups and leading tech companies. She holds a master’s degree in professional communication. Caroline is a partner at CSuite Content.

Laura deCarufel, Editor-in-chief, The Kit
Laura deCarufel is an award-winning editor and writer with 15 years experience in fashion and beauty journalism. As the editor-in-chief of The Kit, her expertise is in creative storytelling: conceptualizing content, working with a team to execute it, and translating content across platforms. Before joining The Kit in 2015, she was the executive editor at ELLE Canada for three years, and she has also worked at FASHION and Hardly Magazine, the digital style magazine, which she co-founded. She is also the author of Learn to Speak Fashion (Owlkids).

Helen Siwak, Founder of EcoLuxLuv Communications
Helen Siwak is a lifelong entrepreneur and master of the hustle. In addition to being the founder of EcoLuxLuv Communications, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Folio.YVR Luxury Lifestyle Magazine, she is also the west coast editor for top-read industry magazine Retail-Insider.com. She has her finger on the pulse of the luxury lifestyle niche. As an ardent observer of eco-luxury and supporter of the ‘slow movement,’ Helen has collaborated with multiple luxury fashion and design houses such as Armani, Versace, Fendi, and Stefano Ricci in creating content for multiple titles internationally.
