Be My Valentine

I think we all have that one story that defines how we feel about Valentine’s Day. Last year, my experience created a few laughs when having drinks with some friends. Let’s just say it involved drugstore chocolates and apology roses. Romantic, right? Stories aside, I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t love this day. I still see the beauty of Valentine’s Day and think it acts as an important annual reminder to put everything aside and focus on the ones you love. Plus, you can be unabashedly sappy on social media (insert ‘heart’ emoji here!)

This Valentine’s Day, choose to celebrate the love in your life, whether it comes from a partner, friends, family, or even pets.

If you’re looking for a gift for your loved one this Valentine’s Day, we have some ideas that you can claim as your own (don’t worry, we won’t tell) in our Ask the Expert post “Selecting THE One“.

For those last-minute gifts (you know who you are!), Godiva is opening an hour early on both February 13th and 14th to sneak in some shopping before work. Trust me, it’ll be worth the detour. No apology roses this year!
