Accessorize with Flirtation

If you’ve walked the streets of Vancouver and come across sidewalks sprinkled with thousands of pink petals, you know it’s spring. Vancouver’s cherry blossoms are a beautiful reminder that my favorite season to accessorize is finally here!

Plunging necklines and powerful pastels hit the runway for Spring. And like any reasonable fashionista, I’ve combed some of my favourite shops at Oakridge for the must-have accessory pairings for the season.

It’s no surprise that pavé rose gold pieces are back and this year with more variety than ever! From ear to neckline, these sweet coloured accessories are popping up everywhere. I love pieces like the Jaryn Pave Rose Gold-Tone Watch from Michael Kors and the Lilia Ring Set from Swarovski for their versatility, warm tones and hint of sparkle. The colours bring out a youthful and flirtatious style that’s been long awaited after a west coast winter.

Although, nothing says subtle flirtation like a plunging neckline with eye-catching layered necklaces! The key to mastering this look is to start with your favourite necklace and work around it. Hint: odd numbers are best and vary the length of each piece. My coveted piece this season is the Together Necklace from Thomas Sabo! B-E-A-UTIFUL!

It’s time to be bold this season! Roll up those sleeves, bare those collar bones and schedule that manicure in OPI Sweet Heart Pastel Pink! Spring to it!
