Ladies Day on the Diamond Provides a Professional Baseball Experience

22 baseball enthusiasts from around Vancouver gathered at Nat Bailey Stadium on August 20th for the fourth annual Ladies Day on the Diamond sponsored by Oakridge Centre. This one-day baseball clinic had professional players and coaches all teaching ‘Baseball 101’ to a ladies only audience.

All participants had the chance to learn the basics of the game of baseball including training techniques, on-field practice and what goes into the day in a life of a minor league baseball player. Ladies arrived at the camp in the morning and enjoyed breakfast before taking to the field and getting the clinic underway. A t-shirt, ticket for the Canadians game later that night and a handful of other gifts went to those who registered. A fun day was had by all!
